The sixth Sustainability Report

With the presentation of the Sustainability Report 2024, the Group consolidates its commitment to sustainability for a concretely sustainable horizon and future

The sixth Sustainability Report strengthens the Group’s commitment to engaging in dialogue with stakeholders, designing a more conscious future guided by continuous improvement. Since 2019 sustainability within the ESG framework, which assesses environmental, social, and governance impact, has been a fundamental pillar of the business model, guiding corporate strategies toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In 2024, on the occasion of its 127th anniversary, Giorgetti strengthened its international presence with the opening of new prestigious showrooms. Over the course of the year, the Group expanded its international presence with new strategic openings: a monobrand store in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with Salus Homes, and a new showroom in Cairo, Egypt, developed together with its partner Art of Form. Furthermore, the Giorgetti Group has participated in important events, such as: Imm Cologne Spring Edition, Milan Design Week, NYCxDesign Festival, London Design Festival Week, Paris Design Week and Designrer’s Day, presenting new collection pieces alongside its iconic designs reaffirming its excellence in both the national and international contexts. Giorgetti was awarded at the Livingetc Style Awards in the Best Coffee Table category with the Chanterelle coffee table collection, designed by Tollgard & Catellani.

Giorgetti and Battaglia reaffirm their commitment to the protection and wellbeing of people by promoting social and humanitarian initiatives, and by enhancing human capital through corporate welfare programs and continuous training. The artisanal component, the art of craftsmanship, plays a fundamental role in the Group’s business activities, further supported by collaborations with technical education institutes such as the Centro di Formazione Professionale Giuseppe Terragni in Meda and Aslam in Lentate sul Seveso. During the year, an association project was launched with Associazione Amici di Via della Spiga – Il Salotto del Quadrilatero, in collaboration with local institutions and the Municipality of Milan, to support and promote Via della Spiga, home to the “Giorgetti Spiga – The Place” and well-known destination for luxury, fashion, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Environmental sustainability takes shape through the reconversion of resources and energy, thanks to initiatives that range from photovoltaic panels to the recycling of scarce processing waste, from the containment of emissions to the exclusive use of water-based materials for painting and polishing, to the complete elimination of industrial waste. The aim is to promote widespread well-being that embraces a broad community, both internally and externally, including the 257 employees and supply chains.

Finally, the Group continues to invest in the creation of long-lasting products that are entirely Made in Italy, pieces designed to stand the test of time, to be passed down to future generations while preserving and enhancing their value over the years.
